Property Repairs & Compliance Administrator

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and organised Property Repairs & Compliance Administrator to join our team. As a landlord, with a diverse portfolio of properties ranging from residential to holiday lets predominantly within Mansfield and its surrounding areas but also including areas further afield including Scotland and the Peak District, we need someone who can ensure all our properties meet legal requirements and are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all properties are compliant with relevant legal requirements
  • Organising Checks: Coordinate gas and electric checks for all properties
  • Contractor Management: Recruit and manage contractors for property maintenance and repairs
  • Tenant Liaison: Communicate with tenants to arrange property access for checks and maintenance
  • Expenditure Decisions: Make informed decisions on property related expenditures ready for management sign off
  • Rental Compliance: Ensure properties are compliant for rental

Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Contractor Liaison: Proven ability to manage and work effectively with contractors
  • Computer Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for Property: A genuine desire and passion for property management
  • Task Completion: Ability to see time sensitive tasks through to completion
  • Driving License: Full driving license and own car are essential
  • Flexibility: Willingness to visit properties as needed

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Saturday)
