PA to the Directors
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PA to support our team of two directors with their diverse interests and responsibilities.
The successful candidate will assist with the management of their busy lives and businesses, which comprise of a substantial portfolio of houses, shops, factories, farms, restaurants, forestry, wind and solar sites.
You will be working for an established, family-owned property investment company which has been in operation for forty years. The role is varied and demanding, as you will be supporting the Directors in a range of projects as well as overseeing their personal matters and providing effective secretarial support. This is a dynamic and rewarding role which would give huge job satisfaction to the right candidate.
The successful candidate must enjoy challenges and changing work priorities, and have sound all-round secretarial skills as well as excellent organisational skills. Any additional experience in property purchases or rentals, buildings or construction, farming or forestry would be beneficial, but more important is a 'can-do' attitude, an aptitude to learn and a desire to become as involved in the business as the Directors you are supporting.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a full PA service to the Directors to ensure a smooth running of their business and personal lives
- Managing the Directors' emails and diary
- Arranging travel and hotel accommodation as required
- Preparing correspondence on behalf of the Directors, including drafting of replies to general correspondence
- Efficient maintenance and retrieval of filing systems and muniments
- Maintaining and prioritising the Directors' task lists, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Taking an active interest in and growing understanding of the Directors' work and priorities
- Secretarial support including typing from notes and dictation, minute taking, file management and reprographic tasks
The ideal candidate will have/be:

This is full-time role.
Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year, dependent on experience.

Rural Estates Administrator
If you have experience as a PA in an office environment or a similar high-level administration role, and are looking for an exciting and busy role within a property investment company with a large agricultural portfolio, we would love to hear from you. This is a new role within our expanding rural department, in which you would be assisting our existing Rural team in administrating the various agricultural agreements and tenancies, grants and schemes, farming subsidies, insurance and capital works, and all other related administration within the department.
We have an extensive agricultural portfolio located in North Nottinghamshire and the adjacent counties, as well as Northern England, Scotland and Ireland. We are looking to expand our “Top Team” as we continue to grow and develop.
Relevant experience, and an aptitude and desire to continually learn and develop, are the key attributes we are seeking for this role.

- Decision making on property expenditure.
- Ensuring properties are compliant ready for rental.

- Proven ability to manage/work with contractors or teams.
- Computer skills, especially Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
- A desire and passion for property
- Ability to see a task through to the end
Full driving license and own car is required.
Must be willing to visit properties when needed

Void Property Renovations Assistant
To assist us with our future growth, we require a property renovation enthusiast to assist with speedy turnaround of our empty properties. You do not need building knowledge, but you must have a passion and desire to present properties to an excellent standard, ready to let to tenants.
The role includes:
- Organising repairs, refurbishing properties to a good condition
- Recruitment and management of contractors
- Dealing with outgoing tenants
- Decision making on property expenditure.
- Ensuring properties are compliant ready for rental.
- Understanding the lettings market and what is required to successfuly let a property.
- Organising contractors for replacing or upgrading kitchens and bathrooms where needed, organizing décor and putting together a schedule of works to give to the contractor.
- Viewings with potential tenants and selling what will be the final result.
The person must have some of the following skills/qualities:
- An understanding of the lettings market
- Proven ability to manage/work with contractors or teams.
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire and passion for property
- The ability to see a task through to the end
- A keen eye and interest in property renovation
-Experience of working in a sales/property environment.
Full driving license and own car is a must.
You must be willing to visit properties on a regular basis.
